Mom and dad just arrived back to KL from Aussie yesterday. I was pretty happy but my freedom is all gone =(. I mean it's not to say that I'm like upset because they came back but you know, well like, it's like :"aww man..." that kind of feeling. I asked mom to help me find pretty angel figures but sadly, they can't find it there. I was quite upset. Not even the ones by Jim Shore.(Jim shore figures originates from Australia)That really sucks.

By the way, I'm in the midst of bidding jewelry items. They are just sooo cheap! I get like 10x cheaper (I guess..??) in Ebay than I buy from Macy store.I'm now having like endless (virtually, lol) supplies of beads and stuff to work on. I can't wait for the items to arrive!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Anyway, I would love to thank all my aunts and uncles for buying me all the goodies! I'm also pretty sure that they've given good hospitality to both my mom and dad while they're there so, I really should thank them too!

So, here are all the items that I received:

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
My aunt got this for me but actually, we can get this in M'sia too..! But I really appreciate that you got this for me. It's fat free but it has sugar in it..!Nevertheless, I'll still be happily pouring it on salads. =D More foodie items below!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

My mom's friend bought this for us! She's actually from our neighbourhood but she migrated to Australia and she was so kind to come and visit my mom in Australia and gave us this really yummy nuts. It's really sexy, too! Xd

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
She (mom's friend) also got us this! There's almond, macadamia, cashew, walnut.
I'm a nut fan! =D

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

She (mom's friend) also got this for me! The pencil case looks like paper right? It's actually made from some kind of synthetic cloth. I love this sooo much! Plus, that mechanical pencil/pen is so darn cool. It has a highlighter (on top),a mechanical pencil, a red coloured ball pen and a blue coloured ball pen. All 4 in 1! Awesome, right? It's some Australian brand called "Smiggle"

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

My mom picked these up from me. They're oyster shell. It's really beautiful

BOUNTY! I know I'm on a weight lose diet but I can't resist the tempation of bounty. I LOVE BOUNTY! It's the best choco ever made, aside from Black choco, of course.

Some B@stards (Doctors) out there.

Monday, December 14, 2009 , 0 Comments

Hey, if you are those doctors, ROT IN HELL.

Image Hosted by <span class=

I was so angered by this morning STAR headline when I read it. The title said "Baby factory".I was so captured by the headlines that I read immediately (Note: I don't usually read the newspaper. That's why it's a big thing.) and I was so shocked that some b@stard doctors are also involved and went into hiding after his 'clients' were arrested.

I can't imagine how the world has evolved. I remembered last time, when I was dining out and my dad,out of the blue, met one of his old classmate. We were chatting when he asked me.
"What's your ambition?"
"A doctor."
"Why did you do it for?"
"To help people, of course!"
"Wow, looks like there ARE people like you left."
"urm....well..err..."

I stammered. I felt quite embarrassed too, really. I'm not trying to blow my own trumpet. That happened few years ago.If you constantly read my blog (link) and remember, I had some major decision to make between a doctor and a physicist.

Image Hosted by <span class=

Back then, I KNEW that there are SOME doctors who are the money minded but I thought there must more of those who are passionate too. Looks like until only know, I know the 'true colours' of the world. I'm too naive about the 'real world'.

Image Hosted by <span class=

On top of this morning posts, before I went out of the house to take the paper, I was watching "Criminal Behaviour" on CI.(It's an Astro channel, for those of you who don't know CI) This documentary program mainly talked about how and why criminal do their 'gruesome act.' This lady, who has some mental disease killed ALL her 5 children. They charged her (their law is so strict) for being sane, when she killed her children. They concluded that she IS sane when she killed all her children. Anyway, along the story, they did talked about her lifestyle and her mental breakdown and at one part, the narrator said that she was referred to another hospital because her insurance ran out. I was like what? Is that a mandatory law of the state or one of the hospital's rules?! Either way, I still felt that dissatisfaction.

Image Hosted by <span class=

Instantly, I went into thinking about my future ambition. I thought to myself that :" I think I'll be a doc." but I was also hesitant to just 'leave' that job as a physicist hanging there. Then when the morning paper came in, the 'doctor-side' was stronger. It seems like this morning, is like a sort of a 'hint' for me on my ambition.

Image Hosted by <span class=

Even before those stuff, I remembered some incidents about terrible medical care services. Remember the last time about this little baby where his/her (I can't remember) arm got amputated because the nurse did some error? I don't know if this is inevitable or she did not concentrate but all I knew at that time, I was angry at that particular nurse. Of course, most of you will think the same as me and some, will think about the 'nurse's story.' I know this hasn't got anything to do with the doctors (or possibly not?) but well, this shows how terrible our world has become.

Image Hosted by <span class=

Ah yes! I remembered one, it happened to my mom and I was there. My mom had arthritis and had to be admitted to an orthopedics. It was in UKM and when it was my mom's turn to get her checkups, this rookie doctor, some foreign doctor who is working there was attending to my mom. Well, I have to say that my mom is a little slow and hesitant at making decision so this doctor, was like saying :"Cepatlah, di luar ada lagi banyak orang tunggu." His way of speech was so rude and not to mention his stupid accent, I was angered but I didn't say anything. I was, in my heart : What kind of stupid crappy doctor are you? You are not even fit to be one..! By the way, he DIDN'T look professional at all. It's not like I AM that great but if it this situation were to be in your shoe, what will you feel?

Image Hosted by <span class=

*sigh* I wish there were more compassionate doctors. Fortunately, to say, I have seen some great doctors before which is, actually a relief to me. So, now, that leaves me with my decision about my future ambition.

That's all for today! If you happen to be a medical student or doctor and you've read this post. Please be a doctor to mainly serve people but not just to hog on to people's money.Give good services for the price they (patients) pay you to do.

Me and my workout.

Thursday, December 10, 2009 , 0 Comments

Today's my last workout for the week and there's 2 days (plenty of rests for my tired, pumped out muscles) before my next workout. I admit that I haven't workout for so long already (that's why this blog page is so empty,it's collecting spider webs already) and I got to tell when I got back to gym, I went back to square one to where I started out.

My weight was the same when I first started and I did everything from square one. It felt good but I really sucked in the push ups. Everything was so flabby and my muscles aren't that good already. I felt so darn sad!

I noticed some changes to the Bukit Jalil gym and I have to tell you that the one way tinted glass is the best of all the changes. There're 2 extra equipments and I'd have to say, I haven't got the chance to try out that new threadmill machine. I wonder what's the new features? It got me wondering, why not they buy more sets of weights? *sigh* The last time when I was much more fit, and used heavier weights, I have to sort of like wait for the other guy to finish using it. It is so inconvenient.

Plus, I don't know why the h*ll did they take away (they already have INSUFFICIENT LOWER RANGE WEIGHTS dumb bells and now they take it off? What the..) the adjustable dumb bell weights! They have some other 'un-adjustable weights' (not sure what are they exactly called) but since I'm starting right back from square one, I wanted to start from something lighter. I was trying to find for a 5kg to do my squats but I only found 10 lbs. I was kind of pissed off.

They have adjustable barbells but I haven't figured out what kind of exercise would I do with a barbell to replace my dumb bell exercises. Plus, they only have like ONE (yes, the one and ONLY) barbell spotter available and mostly, those guys would dominate it. There IS another barbell available with knurls but I haven't tried it out with squat. I am afraid that with the knurls, it'd be uncomfortable if I perform squats.Usually I see those people who does squats used barbells without those knurls.

I know maybe some of you might think:" Change your gym center la..." I'd be glad to do that if I have this - $$. Mind you, if you don't know already, I'm still a budding student. I asked my parents to change to My fitness Center because they have SOOOO many other stuff for me to try and workout on but my mom say:" They don't have swimming pool like bukit jalil has. Your dad goes swimming and you know right?" I shrugged. I actually hated Bukit Jalil gym. It's so inadequate.Hey, we (as in my family, lol) don't pay 'peanuts' for the monthly membership at Bukit Jalil okay? I peeked at the Bukit Jalil statement and they charge a whooping RM110 per month!! What the??

I've got loads more to write but now, I've been too long on the computer. Better head back to homeworks.. *I've got loads.*

Rakan Muda Camp (MARET)

Here are the details of the camp:
Date: 1st December - 4th December
Venue: School - Taman Botanical Ayer Keroh Melaka

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
I didn't expect myself to use this image, too! I wanted to delete it.
By the way, that's Suresh's leggie

Ahoy! I had loads of fun and also some not so fun stuff going around there. Firstly, I would love to give a loudspeaker on this: I HATE WEARING WET SMELLY SHOES ! oh my gosh.... that was the hell worst. I really hated it plus, wearing it for like whole day was like hell suffering..!

Anyway, let me give you the summary (it is really long though) of the camp.

Image Hosted by <span style=
Say 'hi' to our coach!

we left school at about 3 pm +++ (it was supposed to be 2 PM SHARP,according to Madam but I don't know why we left like 1 hour later.) and my seat partner was Weng Yan. We were quite bored in the bus and I started reading 'Spook'. It's a book about science tackling the afterlife. Then I listened to some music on my MP3. Fortunately, we reached after like 3 hours ( I guess)

Image Hosted by <span class= Beautiful greens~!

Then, we went to the forest-park and got to know our coaches. They were quite friendly and funny.*hah* The first activities were pitching camp. I volunteered *=P, perasan betul* to do it first without his guidance well, because no one wanted to try so I don't play the 'waiting-game' thing and I volunteered. By the way, if I don't, it will be an embarassment to SMKSS because we would look like some sort of bodohs. *I sound so perasan here XD*

Image Hosted by <span class=
Pitching tents

Okay, so later after he gave out the flaws I did while pitching, we were given camp sites and all of us started pitching. I was grouped with 3 other Malay girls and then we had some tea-break sort of thing. We bathed (fortunately they had toilets. Concrete made walls and zinc to add on) then later we had a lil break before our dinner. After dinner, we had logo making and night walk.

Image Hosted by <span class=
Bullcrap activity... I hate this. -_-

I had to be separated from my bunch of friends because well, they used to numbering system to group us. It wasn't fun at all and I hate doing logos. I don't know why in every motivation camps or at least stuff like that, they must have this logo thing. Uggh. I don't like it at all.

Anyway, we had night walks later.

Image Hosted by <span class=
The 'Four Musketeers'!
Left to right : Zhee Meng, Che Lim, Suresh, Asthen

It's not your usual happy night walk where you walk with some bunch of your friends. we have to walk like ALONE. It was darn scary. That guy told us all sort of stupid junk (which was, actually, still, true) to scare us to our wits. He briefed us and added that the forest has loads of 'unseen-creatures' (he meant the spiritual world) and say that our objective to this walk-alone thing is to experience how the blind see. He also said that we are suppose to experience sounds and scenery that we like and do not like. We were given 2 codes. MARET Muda and Pisang. Pisang was the code for when you are hurt. MARET Muda was a to verify our self. Like when you see 'someone' you shout 'MARET' and if the other one shouts 'Muda' then you'll know that the person is 'safe' to talk to. If he says something else, just walk on.

*oh yea, our torch light and hand phones were taken away before we start.*

Image Hosted by <span class=

Before I started, I had so many stupid thoughts running in my mind. I pictured that some ugly looking ghost would come out and scare me and all those kind of things. When I was walking, I kept praying to God to have mercy on me. *lol* I know, it's pretty embarassing. Then as I walked, I can see 2 figures by my side. when I passed them, one of them said :"Satu Malaysia" and the other made funny noises. Right then, I immediately recognise them as humans. I wasn't so afraid anymore. (but I was STILL afraid) Then, as I walked along, I heard footsteps behind me. I was hoping that it would be Nicholas (he was supposed to be 'released' after me) and he walked like so fast that he passed me. I used the 'MARET Muda' code and he answered like supposed to. Phew. I was relieved. Before reaching to our destination, we passed another 2 people side by side of us and he said to me : "Amoi, baju kamu koyak"' and the other was like kept calling me because I didn't respond.

Image Hosted by <span class=
I thought this was funny!Hope you feel the same

After my walk, I shared my experienced with others. I guess, I was the few lucky ones who didn't got the more terrible tricks. My friend said that those 'people' I saw earlier, one of them purposely followed them to scare them and some other stuff. Boy, I was glad that those 'people' didn't do that to me else, I might weeeee in my pants. *hahas*

That was great experience.

We came back to the campsite at around 1 am ++ then I had to do some guarding at night from
2 am till 3 am with weng yan.

Image Hosted by <span class=

The next morning, we were bombarded with so many activities. We had morning exercises, then later we had Jungle Trekking. According to our coach, it is a 5 km walk.We were suppose to mind our talking while in there and not suppose to say 'Sesat' at all because something might happen. *remember, the forest is where other creature lies, spiritual, so to say*

Image Hosted by <span class=
See that?!?! It's fun!

The whole thing was awesomeness!! I love the part where we have to walk through the pool-river thing. It was the best!! Although, the height of the river was till my chest. Fortunately, it's a stationary pool-river or else, the stuff that I'm holding will definitely get wet. (I had this black bag with my camera, water, notepad, stationary)

Image Hosted by <span class=
*stomach aches from looking at Suresh*
HAHAHAHAHA

After we got out from the forest, we were gathered at this still-developing park and there was a huge shallow pond. We had to use the mud and soil mixture from the ground and wipe it on our whole face. I even cracked a joke and said :" Facial mask everyone!" then applied all over my face. There was a tingling sensation as the thing was drying and I really feel like scratching it off but I know I shouldn't and so it stayed there for long.

Image Hosted by <span class=

Then, we walked further and stopped behind some bush and listened to this man talking about herbs we can eat and use in the forest if we are lost in the forest. We got to try some berries that looked like small star fruit. It tasted tangy. We also learned about some herbs that we can apply on open wounds so that it will heal faster.

Image Hosted by <span class=

Later, we walked back to our campsite, as we walked, other visitors looked at us with a strange look. We walked back to our campsite to have lunch then we had other activities and no, no washing our face except our mouth part area for eating. We did orientation. It's like sort of a treasure hunt thing where we use compass and the bearing (the bearing is given to us) to find our way. While we were 'hunting' there were also other visitors and all of them looked at us with the expression :" What are these people doing??!??!?!"

Finally, after all groups found their 'treasures' we got to wash our mud face. Woah! Refreshing. Then, we had yet another activity : Water related activity.

Image Hosted by <span class=
Spot me ugly face. I looked really bad.

All of us had to walk like about 2 km to this place where our activities were supposedly be Kayak and Wall Climbing. Unfortunately, due to the bad weather, our Kayaking was canceled although out coach briefed us about how to Kayak and those stuff. It was replaced by Dragon Boat and Swimming. We had about 11 of us on each boat with a single side oar each. What we are suppose to learn there is group work and coordination with our members. If our strength and techniques are not properly balanced, our boat would not go the way we want. It sounds easy but it's not at all.

Image Hosted by <span class=
"...loop here, loop there..."

We also had knots session. We were taught on how to tie different knots. One of them was the reef knot and.. I forgotten the rest..! But I DO remember how to tie them. (I loved knots since I was young so, it's not surprising that I know how to tie them but not remember their names. *chuckles*)

Image Hosted by <span class=
@#$@#$ that public speaking. I hate it.

Later, we walked back and rested. Had dinner then public speaking. OHMIGOSH I hate public speaking! When it was my turn, I decided to talk about my camp experience. I scribbled on my notepad and I think this girl, next to me saw it. She was before me and I was shocked when she told her title. When it was my turn, this fat a$$ woman (one of the minor coach helpers and I don't usually insult people but she made me angry) accused me of copying her and asked me to change my title. I denied of course and showed her my notepad that I scribbled on. I decided to speak in English and it went so wrong. Not even one quarter way through, I stopped and after a few moments of silence, the coached asked me (in Malay of course) :" Finished?" I hesitantly and feeling embarassed (blood was rushing to my face) said :"yes" and I scrambled back to my seat.

Image Hosted by <span class=
Oh yea, I AM sad.

I became upset a lil about my verdict that the girl copied me, or not..? I started writing to God *er....* and said all that I had to say. I was even trying to calm myself and think that maybe that girl did NOT copy at all but it was so impossible...! She was just next to me and how can it be that coincidentally she copied my title? HOW CAN IT BE? I felt so sad and embarassed at the same time (embarassed for my speech earlier) and I wrote to take off that feelings and on top of it, I decided to pick up this winged ant on the table and fiddled around with it. I felt so much better. I love insects.

Then, we slept.

Image Hosted by <span class=
I know..it's the beginner's trek! Stop looking like that!

IImage Hosted by <span class=
Look at Zhee Meng!!!! He looked like he hanged himself.

The next morning, we had Wall Climbing and I really sucked. I was telling to Weng Yan that it'll definitely be easy for the skinny people because they are lighter and that it was not necessary for them to use more arm strength. Heh, I think my hypothesis was right because surprisingly, weng yan (girl category) reached the highest.(She was the lightest) She didn't make it to the top though.

Image Hosted by <span class=

After that, we had the closing ceremony, had lunch and we all head back to KL. *home sweet home!*

Yea, this is such a long post..! I hope you've enjoyed it..!

School holiday's to firm up

Sunday, December 06, 2009 , 0 Comments

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Yay, holiday's here (and unfortunately, ending soon too.) and I decided to get back to gym to shape up. Need those fit body to get to holidays, do short puts (in school), and getting myself ready for Wall Climbing in the future and some other great activities~~!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

So, I've created my meal plans today and all looks delish. I've decided to drop on counting calories through my self made 'Microsoft-Excel-Calorie-Counters', as I would call it. It has made me more depressed trying to count those stupid calories (yes, I agree I AM stupid) and made me even more hungry than full.

Since mom and dad is not at home (and bro too, not at home) it will be easier for me to carry out my meal plans since there's no one to entice me with those (so called) 'unwanted-foods-in-my-plan'.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Here's my meal plan for today:

B'fast: (pronounced as BEE-Fast)
2 3/4 cooked omega eggs. *yea, 3/4,I hate runny 1/2 ones*
1 cup tomatoes

In-betweens:
1 kiwi ( I love those)

Lunch:
2 Tangy grilled pork tenderloins
1 cup broccoli florets

In-betweens:
Fruits / Almonds

Dinner:
Lemon Garlic Fish (I don't know what fish to cook yet)
1 cup of vege (I don't know what vege should I cook..too!)

Before sleep:
Milk (ol' good milk)

Sounds reasonably delicious
